Galaxy Football commissioned EAOM to deliver an entry level eCommerce website for their sportswear and sports accessories business in March 2011. The website needed to be a well structured, user friendly site that would provide Galaxy Football with a professional looking design and interface.

EAOM worked closely with Galaxy Football to design a modern, relevant website, something that we feel is conveyed in the end result.

THE BRIEF

When Galaxy commissioned EAOM, the main objectives of the project was to develop a modern, easy to use website that had simple yet effective functionality. The website needed to help project the Galaxy Football brand as being a professional online company, who are able to offer additional specialised services as part of their business offering.

Galaxy Football also wanted to be able to have a system that was easy to manage products, and whereby the content management system was also user friendly and simple to navigate around. Using the 3ex.net platform allowed Galaxy Football to get the maximum effect from both the system and the CMS.

THE RESULT

The finished eCommerce website projected a very distinctive brand, with clear product messaging throughout the website. The use of the consistent, clear imagery throughout the product images and banners helped to produce a polished finished effect to the website.

The conceptual element of the project focused heavily on minimalistic styles, within the fonts, product information and overlays, whilst the banners helped to breathe life and personality into the website.

The 3ex.net eCommerce System allows Galaxy Football to manage all content on the website effectively, including adding new products, images, banners, pages.

The website has been developed with an simple user experience in mind, which flows all the way through to the website including the AJAX based one page checkout system.
